About the Role
This is a non-litigation, in-house legal role focused on advising the business on media, broadcasting, digital and entertainment-related legal matters. The selected candidate will support television, digital and film operations with practical, commercially-oriented legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for content production, acquisition, licensing, and syndication
- Advising internal teams on television, digital, film, and media operations
- Handling agreements with production houses, artists, talent, vendors, and agencies
- Ensuring compliance with copyright, IP, broadcasting, and media regulations
- Identifying and managing legal risks and providing business-friendly legal solutions
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. from a recognised university
- 3–7 years of relevant non-litigation experience
- Prior exposure to Media & Entertainment / Broadcasting / Digital Media is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of copyright, intellectual property, contract law, and media regulations
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
