About the Opportunity:
My Legal Partners (MLP) is inviting applications for the position of Associate Advocate – IPR at their Delhi office. The firm is looking for a motivated lawyer who wishes to build a long-term career with MLP and grow within the organisation.
Position:
Associate Advocate – IPR (Full Time)
PQE: 1–2 Years
Location:
West Delhi (Nearest Metro Stations: Ramesh Nagar / Rajouri Garden / Kirti Nagar)
Eligibility Criteria:
- LL.B. (3-year or 5-year law degree)
- 1–2 years PQE in relevant legal experience
- Strong interest and understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
- Ability to independently manage trademark-related matters
- Good legal drafting and client communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conducting trademark searches and providing legal opinions
- Managing and maintaining IP filing, renewals & prosecution of trademark applications
- Updating and maintaining client trademark portfolios
- Drafting legal opinions and handling client queries on IP practice in India
- Preparing Notice of Opposition, Counter-Statements, Evidence, Rectification etc.
- Attending show-cause hearings at the Trademark Registry
