About the Internship:
The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice R. Mahadevan, Judge, Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for a full-time physical internship on a rolling basis up to January 2026. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for law students to gain first-hand exposure to judicial processes, legal research, and courtroom practice at the highest level of the Indian judiciary.
Internship Details:
- Mode: Offline (Physical)
- Location: Supreme Court of India, New Delhi
- Duration: One month (on a rolling basis)
- Last Date to Apply: 22nd of the month preceding the preferred month of internship
- Shortlisting & Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be notified by the 24th of the preceding month and interviewed virtually thereafter
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed case notes and briefs
- Conducting in-depth legal research on issues before the Court
- Observing court proceedings and assisting in compiling case materials
Eligibility Criteria:
- Law students enrolled in:
- 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated LL.B. program, or
- 2nd year or above of a 3-year LL.B. program
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Keen interest in constitutional and judicial studies
