Peritum Partners is inviting applications for the position of Associate in its Intellectual Property (IP) team based in Chennai. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-value IP prosecution, advisory, and opposition matters under the guidance of experienced partners.
Position Details:

- Practice Area: Intellectual Property – Prosecution, Filing, and Drafting of Applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, file, and prosecute trademark, copyright, and patent applications.
- Liaise with outstation counsel, investors, and R&D teams for collection of technical details, declarations, and supporting documents.
- Conduct preliminary IP due diligence and assist with formal verification and compliance review of patent applications prior to filing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property Law.
- Sound understanding and keen interest in IP advisory, prosecution, and opposition.
