About Civis
Civic Innovation Foundation works to enable effective dialogue between Governments and citizens on laws and policies. Through its online platform Civis, the organization facilitates public consultations by helping citizens share their inputs on upcoming laws with the Government.
Civis has been recognized with multiple awards, including Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, Agami Prize for Legal Innovation, D-Prize, and state government awards at the Maharashtra StartUp Summit and Vibrant Gujarat StartUp Summit. To date, Civis has successfully sourced over 1173 public consultations for its platform.
Internship Details
- Position: Policy Leaders Intern
- Duration: 12 weeks (October – December 2025)
- Mode: Remote (Work from Home)

Responsibilities
- Summarising draft laws and policies for citizen-friendly understanding.
- Conducting detailed research on upcoming laws and policies open for consultation.
- Publishing articles and policy analysis on Civis’ blog and other platforms.

Eligibility Criteria
- Law and Public Policy students in their 3rd year or above.
