About the Role
We are inviting applications for a paid Legal Internship in the Disputes team based in Mumbai. The selected intern will work directly under the supervision of Adv. Priyanka V Pandit, assisting with legal research, drafting, attending court proceedings, and supporting ongoing dispute resolution and litigation matters.
Internship Details
- Job Title: Intern – Disputes
- Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)
- Duration: 6 months
- Stipend: As per industry standards
- Reporting to: Adv. Priyanka V Pandit
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and relevant legal principles.
- Assist in drafting pleadings, notices, applications, written submissions, and legal opinions.
- Attend court proceedings, client meetings, and arbitration hearings as required.
- Summarize case files, prepare internal notes and briefs.
- Help maintain case records and support the team in litigation strategy and documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students in their 3rd or 4th year of a 5-year course.
- Prior internship experience in litigation or disputes preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
- Sound understanding of procedural and substantive laws.
- Professionalism, initiative, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
