About the Advocate
Advocate Akaant K M is a Malerkotla-born litigating lawyer, visiting faculty at Law Schools, he is a author and a researcher in the area of law. He is Primarily based out of Chandigarh, he is practising in the High Court and the National Company Law Tribunals in Delhi and Chandigarh. He was enrolled as an Advocate in 2016 and since graduation, has been an active law practitioner in the subject area of insolvency law, civil and commercial writ petitions, criminal appeals, regular second appeals in civil matters, and regular and anticipatory bails. He is also empanelled with Punjab National Bank, Legal Aid NCLT Ahmedabad Bench, Markfed, Milkfed and Dept of Local Government Punjab.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Roles and Responsibility: There are openings for internships in the office from Mid – February. Apart from the regular litigation work, Akaant K M is currently working on the revision of a textbook on the “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code”.
Type of Work: The interns will assist me in drafting, researching, and editing. The work of the interns will be classified as research assistance.
Location: Sector 61, Mohali, Chandigarh Tricity.
Duration of Internship: The time of work will range from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the willingness of the research assistant.
