ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Legal Intern, you will be an integral part of their in-house legal team, assisting in various tasks related to contract management, legal research, and paralegal duties. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal aspects of a growing SaaS company.
DURATION
3 months (open to renewal basis of mutual agreement).
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and Data Management from Contracts (50%)
- Review and deliver pertinent information and data from various contracts and agreements.
- Maintain and update the contract management system with required data points.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure accurate data recording.
- Research and Vetting Contracts (30%)
- Conduct legal research on various topics as directed by the legal team.
- Vet and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Assist in drafting contract clauses and terms based on research findings.
ELIGIBILITY
- Currently enrolled in a law school and in the 2nd Year of the 3-year law course or the 3rd or 4th year of the 5-year law course.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
